Think of Christmas and in an instant it's easy to imagine the wonders of the season, we think of festive frolics, as well as peace & goodwill, candy canes, mistletoe, tins of sweet treats, gifts under the Christmas tree and of course the traditional Christmas story with star of Bethlehem. However, this year there is more… we have the brightest of Christmas Stars, taking centre stage at the Babbacombe Theatre.

Comedy will feature in more than one guise, during Christmas Stars! Enjoy comedic one liners, funny stories and side-splitting sketches. If you like to celebrate the yuletide season with laughter, then this show will not disappoint.

Happy memories will come flooding back too as the cast share with you some enchanting musical moments. There will be songs from Wicked, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, The Polar Express, Meet Me In St. Louis as well as pop classics and seasonal favourites that span the decades featuring hits from Elton John & Ed Sheeran, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Chris Rea, Taylor Swift and Josh Groben.

Babbacombe favourites make a welcome return, and headlining is funny man and international comedian David Arnold returning to the venues stage after travelling the globe doing what he does best. He is joined by special guest, comedy Magician Peter Baffles, a master of his craft who will leave you in wonder, as you ponder, "how did he do that? Additionally, back on the Babbacombe boards is the delightful Claire Waring, a gifted actress and singing sensation, rising starlet and accomplished performer Lucy J. Samuels, the suave vocal star Joe Giordano and talented musical theatre performer and crooner Joe Stone.

You may be familiar too, with the troupe of sassy dancers, Danze Starz, who execute wonderfully, the dance routines set by the highly acclaimed choreographer, Lucy O'Neill, set to the musical arrangements of Musical Director, Pete Leonard. Attention to detail from the show's producer/director Colin Matthews ensures the theatre maintains the standard of the highly accredited shows, the venue is renowned for. His ability to combine both modern and traditional elements guarantee his shows retain their appeal.
