About
We are looking for young people, to direct, film and present!
Open for ages 8 to 13 years old, the young presenters and crew will make a short movie about the new 'I Grew Up In The 90s' Exhibition, currently showing at Torquay Museum. We're also looking for volunteer parents or guardians to be interviewed as part of the film, on what it was like grow up and live in the 1990s.
Young crew members will learn production and presenting skills and will have an opportunity to create a stop motion animation sequence for the film. Spaces are limited, and booking is essential – morning or afternoon workshops are available.
The workshop will be run by local film producer, John Tomkins, supported by the museum's Education Team, and sponsored by the Torquay Museum Society.
