Nurturing Creative Minds: A Celebration of Young Artists in Torbay

Artizan Collective is pleased to announce the return of its Student Exhibition for the first time since 2019, This special showcase of artwork has been created by young people from Year 7 to Year 13 across four Torbay schools: Torquay Academy, Torbay Medical Tuition Service, Churston Ferrers Grammer School, and Brixham College.

Supported by Councillor Ward Funding and hosted at our Fleet Street gallery, this exhibition brings together an exciting range of ceramics, paintings, textiles, and more. The variety of media on display reflects both the individual talents of each student and the supportive guidance of their teachers, offering a glimpse into the creative intelligence flourishing in local classrooms.

As organisers, we recognise how vital it is to champion arts education for young people. We believe that initiatives like this exhibition celebrate the imagination and drive that exist in every classroom, whilst also helping participants to appreciate the wider creative sector. By offering affordable spaces and support, we aim to reinforce the message that creativity matters, and that it deserves a prominent place in our schools and communities.
