The Old School House
The Old School House is the larger of the two properties, the wow factor being the 32' dining hall with vaulted roof.
The accomodation comprises
Ground floor:
Entrance hall - this is the original pupil's cloak room complete with original coak hooks and functioning bell rope to ring the school bell
Lounge - open plan leading to the kitchen, beamed ceiling and inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove. Furniture includes 2 three seater sofas and 2 arm chairs.
Kitchen - with Aga, separate gas oven and hob, microwave with grill and dish washer
Dining hall - with wood burning stove, 9' elm refectory table seating 10, monks settle, 2 arm chairs, mezzanine level
Utility room - with washing machine, butlers sink
2 ground floor WCs
First floor:
Master bedroom - at the rear of the house with double bed, built in wardrobe, ensuite shower room
Bedroom 2 - at the front of the house with double bed and chest of drawers and hanging rail
Bedroom 3 - the smallest room with twin single beds and under bed storage and hanging rail
Family bathroom - with bath and separate walk in shower cubicle
A stair gate, cot and high chair are available on request.
Outside:
Rear walled garden with summer house and the old stable where the school master's pony once lived, now a play house for younger children. There is a picnic table outside, and a table with 4 chairs in the summer house.
