About
Cookery Schools just for kids! Your 9-12 year olds can learn to cook up a feast, discover the art of pastry and bread-making, make a warming soup or a summer picnic; even create a stunning showstopper on a Bake-Off style workshop. Seasonally ingredients can be picked from Occombe’s own kitchen garden, to turn vegetables into favourite treats like brownies and cookies! Courses are one or half day sessions and are run throughout the year with more sessions scheduled during half terms and school holidays. All courses take place in a dedicated classroom kitchen on the farm and are designed to be hands-on. Everyone is sure to leave with armfuls of tasty treats and bakes. For forthcoming events see Torbay Coast & Countryside website or social media channels. Advance booking is essential online, phone or email.
