Do you know the English Riviera is only 1 of 9 Geoparks in the UK?

A Geopark is a place with awe-inspiring rock formations. In fact, our rocks are so impressive, that in 2015 we became a UNESCO Global Geopark, which meant that we joined the family of other UNESCO sites like Stonehenge, The Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal!

This tour will provide guests with a truly unique perspective of our Geopark from the land and sea.

Starting from Kents Cavern’s prehistoric caves, Britain’s Oldest Home, where humans lived 500,000 years ago, you will experience the outstanding natural beauty and geology of the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark along the South West Coast Path, whilst taking-in the breath-taking coastlines, including the spectacular headland of Thatcher Point, the most photographed geological feature on the English Riviera.

On arrival at Torquay harbour, guests will join Torquay Water Sports for an unforgettable ride across the Geopark, which will give everyone an opportunity to admire one of the world’s greatest natural phenomenon

Walk along arguably one of the most scenic stretches of the South West Coast Path, whilst hearing the Geopark’s story

Admire the famous islands on the English Riviera’s coastline, which are home to colonies of guillemots

Be inspired by the jaw dropping vistas, which on a clear day, stretch to Portland in Dorset – 40 miles away!

Be amazed by our pre-historic coastline from the sea, whilst keeping a watchful eye out for a porpoise or seal!
