Award winning Restaurants on the English Riviera

An evening at Torquay's Michelin Star restaurant, The Elephant is an excellent way to indulge on a weekend break to the English Riviera. They offer a changing menu based around local and sustainable ingredients, using the abundance of fantastic produce available in South Devon. The restaurant has a dedicated farm, based in Brixham which provides the team with delicious seasonal produce and free-range chicken, lamb, pork and Kelly Bronze turkeys. England’s Seafood Coast

No visit to the English Riviera is complete without tasting some fresh fish from England’s Seafood Coast. Each year over £25million worth of fish is landed at Brixham. The catch is sold on at Brixham Fish Market and can then be found in some of the top restaurants and fishmongers across the UK and Europe thanks to the exceptional quality. Local chefs make sure to use some too.

The family run No.7 Fish Bistro in Torquay offers homely, authentic seafood from local boats. Savour the fresh catch of the day whilst overlooking stunning sea views and enjoying a leisurely glass of wine. A must visit for seafood lovers.

In Brixham, head to Rockfish – a sustainable seafood restaurant set above Brixham Fish Market. With stunning views over the sea, watch as the trawlers bring in the catch which arrives in the kitchen soon after.
