Chris Hart – ERBID CHAIR – Chief Executive, Wollens Solicitors

Passionate about the success of Tourism in the Bay, Chris is Chair of the ERBID board and is a former Chair of the English Riviera Tourism Company.  He currently sits as a co-opted Director providing legal support. Chris is also a Director of Agatha Christie Festival Limited, responsible for organising the annual Agatha Christie Festival on the English Riviera, as well as being a Director of the Torbay Economic Development Company, and sitting on the Executive Committee of the Torbay Business Forum.

Anthony Payne-Neale – ERBID VICE CHAIR – Court Prior Boutique B&B and Apartment

Anthony is Vice-Chair of the ERBID board and is a Chartered Marketeer with extensive experience in the professional services sector having worked for a number of major international companies. Anthony is owner of Court Prior Boutique B&B and chair of the ERBID Accommodation Focus Group representing accommodation businesses from across the Resort.

Andy Banner-Price – The 25 Boutique B&B

Andy has a wealth of skills and experience, with 15+ years in hospitality.  He has helped put the Bay on the map, with his business twice being named 'Best B&B in the World' on TripAdvisor, and has received a special 'Tourism Business Leader' award at the Devon Tourism Awards.  Andy is a member of the Tourism Management Institute.

Martin Brook – Pilgrims Rest Cottages

Martin has over 30 years’ experience in financial management and owns Pilgrims Rest Cottages. Martin has a particular interest in the development of local events and chairs the ERBID Events Focus Group. Martin was a founder member of Torbay ‘Street Pastors’ and is currently Director of Torbay Holiday Helpers Network (THNN) and now a Torbay Councillor.

Pippa Craddock – Business & Marketing Solutions Ltd

Pippa has 25 years’ experience of strategic marketing and branding. Much of her experience has been gained in the leisure and tourism sector, having been Director of Marketing & Development at South West Environmental Parks Ltd. (owners of Paignton Zoo) for 20 years. Pippa is a Director of independent consultancy, Business & Marketing Solutions. She is currently Chair of the ERBID Marketing Focus Group.

Richard Cuming – Bygones

Born and brought up in the Bay, Richard is a partner at Bygones managing the day to day running of the business. Richard is the former Chairman of the English Riviera Attractions Partnership (ERAP) and current Chair of the ERBID Attractions Focus Group.

Carolyn Custerson, CEO, ERBID Company

Carolyn has 35 years’ experience working in the UK Tourism Industry and led on the establishment of ERBID1. Previous roles include: CEO of the ERTC and Director of UK Holidays for SAGA. Carolyn is currently Chair of the English Riviera Destination Management Group. She is a Director of VisitDevon and member of the VisitEngland Destinations Forum.

Claire Flower – Director, Beverley Holidays

Director of Beverley Holidays in Paignton, Claire has worked in her family’s successful award winning holiday park from an early age. She has been involved in the tourism sector all her life, specialising in marketing. Claire is vice-chair of the ERBID Marketing Focus Group and supporting Media Spokesperson.

Jason Garside – Managing Director & CEO, TLH Leisure Resort

Jason has been in the hospitality industry for 25 years and started his career with the Rank Organisation working for the Butlins Hotels division. In 2018 he led a successful MBO and is now MD and CEO of TLH Resort employing over 300 people and one of the ERBID’s biggest Levy Payers.

Tim Godfrey – Senior Partner, Bishop Fleming

As a senior partner of Chartered Accountants Bishop Fleming, Tim is responsible for overseeing the ERBID Company’s finances working alongside the ERBID Finance and Governance Committee. Previous roles include Chair of the ERBID board and Chair of the Torbay Business Forum (TBF).

Lisa Tuck – Divisional Director Economy, Environment and Infrastructure, Pride in Place, Torbay Council

Lisa has a very wide range of responsibilities at Torbay Council, managing multiple service areas across the resort related to visitor services and including Event management.

Jim Parker – JOURNALIST; CHAIR OF TORBAY PLACE LEADERSHIP BOARD

Jim has been a journalist in Torbay for 50 years. A former editor of the Herald Express, he launched a new Torbay Weekly newspaper which focuses heavily on the community, something in which Jim fervently believes in as he champions the English Riviera across the board, including the voluntary and sporting sectors.

Kelly Widley – Food and Drink Hospitality Consultant

Kelly is passionate about the Food and Drink sector, working with many hospitality venues throughout the bay.  Kelly was actively involved in the launch and Chair of the Best Bar None awards, ‘Ask for Angela’ campaign and the ‘Purple Flag’ award to ensure that our night time economy operates as safely as possible. Kelly helped set up and chairs the ERBID Food and Drink Focus Group.
