This winter marketing campaign was initiated by the ERBID Company to lengthen the traditional Christmas/New Year visitor period. Over recent time and as a result of significant Government Welcome Back funding (post COVID-19) significant improvements to the waterfront festoon lighting has been possible and this has provided a stimulus to illuminate the Bay more and to promote ourselves as the Bay of Lights. Many attractions now form part of the campaign including: Train of Lights, Model Village Winter Illuminations and the new Bay of Lights Illumination Trail which has been organised by Torbay Council using Torquay Town Deal Funds with the ERBID Company as the headline sponsor.
