Accommodation Directory

The majority of accommodation enquiries are now made online but we still receive around 1500 requests for a printed accommodation guide by phone, email and via the English Riviera Website.

To minimise costs (particularly postage) the ERBID Accommodation Directories are produced in a handy DL format with over 560 accommodation providers currently included. From 2024, we produce two separate Accommodation Directories: one features Hotels, Guest Houses and B&Bs. The other is for Self-Catering Accommodation including Holiday Parks. All levy-paying providers receive a complimentary listing with the property name, address, telephone number and website. Businesses include hotels, guest houses, self-catering units, camping and holiday parks.

However demand for paper copies has been noticeably declining, with online downloads increasingly exceeding paper copy requests. You can see the download page here.

The Accommodation Directories are available from the Visitor Information Centre and are picked up by many visitors to the centre every year.

The Group Operators Directory is aimed at Group Operators and Tour Organisers. It features listings for 70 hotels and attractions that welcome groups, as well as information on coach parking, annual events and free services available to help group organisers.
Visitor Maps

The English Riviera Visitor Map is a full colour, single sheet foldable map, provided in tear-off pads of 100. The map covers the whole of the English Riviera area, with main attractions and points of interest highlighted and giving the relevant bus route numbers.
Agatha Christie Mile and More

ERBID have produced an ‘Agatha Christie Mile… and More’ walking trail. It highlights 14 locations relevant to her time in Torquay, including the Agatha Christie blue plaques.
