English Riviera Walking Festivals

This is a new Event introduced by the ERBID Company following an unprecedented growth in visitor interest in coastal walking as a result of COVID-19. The first Walking Festival working with local guides was introduced in October 2022 and following such positive feedback two English Riviera Walking Festivals (Spring and Autumn) took place in 2023. Whether visitors are a regular hiker or an infrequent stroller, these dog friendly walking festivals will appeal to walkers of all abilities who enjoy exploring the great outdoors.

Accommodation and Food and Drink providers are encouraged to promote themselves as ‘Walker Friendly’ businesses and to embrace the Walking Festivals as a reason to visit the resort in the Spring and Autumn with a wide choice of pre-bookable walks available.

Strategically the ERBID Company believes that with the growth in the interest in walking and in particular coastal walking that we should work together to become a leading year-round walking destination with the South West Coast Path on our doorstep.
