Working in partnership with Meet Devon, the ERBID Company are continuing to invest in inspiring meeting organisers round the world, by sponsoring specialist attendance to key Business Tourism Events both in the UK and abroad, including leading global Business Tourism events such as the IBTM Trade Show in Barcelona, thereby raising the profile of the English Riviera.

Meet Devon is a free venue finding service for all Business Event organisers, headed up by Nicky Harding and Sally Everton. Meet Devon is a first point of contact for anyone considering Devon and the English Riviera for a Business Event with an extensive range of venues for meetings, conferences and incentive travel available, including local venues such as the Riviera International Conference Centre. Notable progress is now being made in winning back business post COVID.

Nicky Harding was formerly of Conference English Riviera in Torquay, where she had been for 34 years, and is responsible for driving Business Tourism to the area. She is an active member of the Meetings Industry Association. Between them, Sally and Nicky have over 50 years industry experience covering all areas of business events from large association and corporate events, to incentive groups, corporate golf days, team build activities and discreet executive board meetings. Their slogan is Fresh Air for Fresh Thinking, which post COVID is getting traction.

Working strategically with Meet Devon means that the ERBID Company, as the official DMO for Torbay, is also an official partner is therefore also represented by Meet England Home | VisitEngland. Meet England is the National Tourist Board’s Business Tourism specialist team. Working through Meet Devon as an official partner, we can take advantage of being represented globally, which working on our own would not be possible.
