The English Riviera continues to be a popular destination for both UK and Overseas journalists to visit and the English Riviera BID Company helps fund these visits to maximise publicity for the area.
The English Riviera BID Company is frequently interviewed on South West tourism matters and special tourism features on ITV Westcountry and BBC Spotlight.
Many celebrities have visited the Bay in recent years, making programmes that showcase the area, including Joanna Lumley and Alan Carr. Susan Calman has visited the area for several of her programmes - an episode of Grand Day Out was watched by 3 million people and resulted in an immediate uplift of 35% in traffic to the official English Riviera website englishriviera.co.uk. Lucy Worsley visited many English Riviera locations in her 3-part BBC series Agatha Christie: Lucy Worsley on the Mystery Queen.
